The Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS) is a test that’s been used for over two decades as a way for patient’s to self-assess their degree of knee injury or Osteoarthritis damage. Your KOOS result can be a great indicator as to whether you need to start considering treating the cause of your knee pain.

20-50: severe injury or Osteoarthritis
51-70: moderate dysfunction
71-90: mild dysfunction
91-100: essentially normal knee with minimal or no disease
100 represents a perfectly healthy knee
