The AcuKnee Rapid Recovery electrodes are designed for quad and shoulder stim following our strict treatment protocol. Patients treating otherwise are fully responsible for the outcome and AcuKnee LLC is not responsible for any damages while using incorrectly.
Using larger electrodes, PreHab provides additional passive muscle loading and prevents post-exercise soreness. The use of Prehab and AcuKnee together can strengthen the leg and knee prior to knee replacement or other knee surgery. Six weeks of combined use, prior to surgery, may improve surgical outcomes and enhance post-surgery recovery.
The shoulder treatment has been used extensively on little league, high school, and college pitchers to produce a rapid soreness-free recovery without icing. The quadriceps program has been very useful in triathletes and ultra-endurance runners. Please consult the user’s manual for more examples of muscle stimulation applications.
